Position Overview:
Serves food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, to guests in a friendly and timely manner
Licensing Requirements:

ABC Certification – as required by state or local laws

Food Handlers Certification – as required by state or local laws
Experience/Education/Knowledge:

Experience in full service restaurant environment is helpful, but not required

Successful completion of Razzoo’s training for this position required

Must be of legal age to serve liquor in compliance with federal, state or local laws

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Greet guests
-
Deliver hospitality to every guest
-
Back up host team
-
Offer assistance with menu; explain menu
-
Suggest food/drink items
-
Defer all guest questions regarding allergies to the Manager on Duty
-
Conduct age verification for alcohol service following ABC requirements and Company procedures at all times
-
Manage guest liquor consumption effectively and in accordance with ABC requirements and Desperados Liquor Service Agreement
-
Write down and repeat all orders
-
Ring in orders correctly
-
Expedite and garnish food orders as necessary
-
Auction off food at delivery and offer drink refills
-
Continuously pre-bus and handle on-going drink maintenance
-
Deliver check after table is clear, or upon request from guest
-
Run food
-
Take check when guest is ready
-
Thank and invite guest to return
-
Collect payment for all purchases following appropriate Company procedures
-
Reconcile Cash Out and account for all monies owed at end of each shift
-
Know liquor brands, basic liquor drinks and Desperados specialty drinks
-
Opening, running and closing side-work duties (ie. roll silverware, clean trays, clean and set tables, sweep station, stock beverage stations as needed)

Alert appropriate personnel to immediately empty trash cans after broken glass has been disposed in them
-
Wash and sanitize hands after removing trash, eating and drinking, using the bathroom, touching own face or hair, or handling food prep
-
Maintain a clean and safe environment reporting any unsafe procedures or conditions to anyone in management
-
Participate in executing birthday celebrations
-
Comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes as well as Desperados policies and procedures
-
Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a manager at any time
Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry items (ice, plates, trash, etc.) up to 30 lbs.

Move about the dining and kitchen areas quickly and carefully
-
Stand/walk during entire shift
-
Enter and exit kitchen with full hands
-
Climb ladder when reaching for items that are on upper shelves

Ability to hear with accuracy over loud background noise

20/20 Near Vision, with correction – the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
