Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of Resident rooms and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitation to uphold hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry operations efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and resident clothing with care.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and chemical dispensing tools safely and effectively.
- Manage chemical agent handling in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and Facility safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Conduct custodial tasks like mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining sanitation in all assigned areas.
- Follow building emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns while ensuring resident safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or housekeeping experience in a facility or hospitality environment preferred.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, chemical handling, sanitation practices, and cleaning equipment operation.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of laundry loads or cleaning supplies safely.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping management procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with resident emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
