Job Summary
We are looking for an Automation Technician with experience supporting injection molding automation systems. The role involves troubleshooting, robot programming, preventive maintenance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robots, conveyors, sensors, VFDs, and motion-control systems.
- Program and troubleshoot molding robots such as Sepro, Fanuc, Yushin, or Wittmann.
- Optimize robot paths, sequences, cycle times, and part handling.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
- Support mold trials, new product launches, and automation setup.
- Work with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve recurring issues.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Support EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Follow applicable safety, ISO, FDA, and GMP requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in injection molding automation or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with robot programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial sensors, and automation systems.
- Experience with molding automation equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Mechatronics, Robotics, or Industrial Automation certification/degree is preferred.
Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
