American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and active OH or compact RN license.

HVTI Step-Down unit at a large academic hospital campus

Potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population

Rotating day/night shifts: Days 7:00am–7:30pm, Nights 7:00pm–7:30am

Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week

Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs of the unit

Every other holiday shift required

Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Step-Down (travel experience acceptable)

18 months of recent Step-Down experience required

PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

Two professional references required for consideration

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and acceptable scores on both are required

Travelers are limited to 18 consecutive months across any facility location within this health system, with a mandatory 6-month gap before beginning another assignment at any system location
