Couplet Coffee is seeking an outgoing, friendly Barista to join our team. As a barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items.
Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
We are opening a location in Hollywood, and another in Santa Monica this year! If you are interested in becoming a manager, you will start as a barista first at our Echo Park and DTLA locations. The rate for managers is $24/hour.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

- Dialing in Espresso

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
