Role: Agile Coach (SAFe transformation)
Location: Marysville, Ohio
Work Mode: Onsite, 4 days per week
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to lead and facilitate the SAFe transformation across departmental and global initiatives.
The Agile Coach will serve as a trusted advisor to organizational leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams. This position is responsible for improving Agile maturity, strengthening team effectiveness, standardizing Agile practices, and driving measurable improvements in delivery predictability and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in Agile coaching, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean thinking, leadership coaching, organizational transformation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership and Coaching
- Serve as a trusted Agile advisor and coach to leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams.
- Promote Agile values, principles, servant leadership, and Lean thinking throughout the organization.
- Improve Agile maturity through coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and training.
- Guide teams toward self-organization, accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Foster psychological safety, trust, transparency, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Coach leaders on servant leadership and outcome-focused management practices.
Team Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate retrospectives, root-cause discussions, and improvement workshops.
- Help teams identify recurring delivery challenges and implement sustainable improvements.
- Coach teams on delivery metrics, flow optimization, and predictability.
- Promote experimentation and learning through Inspect and Adapt practices.
- Support the development of high-performing teams and healthy team dynamics.
- Track improvement actions and help teams remove recurring impediments and blockers.
Agile Framework and Process Enablement
- Establish and standardize Agile practices across multiple teams.
- Support Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate.
- Ensure consistent execution of Agile processes, ceremonies, and governance.
- Facilitate key Agile events, including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Standups
- Sprint Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Scrum of Scrums
- PI Planning
- Inspect and Adapt Workshops
Organizational Agility
- Partner with leaders to identify and remove organizational impediments.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and cultural change efforts.
- Help establish Agile operating models, roles, responsibilities, and governance.
- Promote alignment among organizational strategy, priorities, and execution.
- Increase leadership participation and engagement in Agile ways of working.
- Support the adoption of Agile practices across teams and business functions.
Value Delivery and Flow Optimization
- Improve visibility into work prioritization and delivery flow.
- Support dependency identification and management across teams.
- Guide backlog refinement and value-driven planning.
- Improve delivery predictability through effective planning, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage teams to focus on customer and business outcomes rather than activity completion.
- Strengthen cross-team collaboration and stakeholder value delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working as an Agile Coach in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean principles, and hybrid Agile delivery models.
- Experience leading or supporting SAFe transformation initiatives.
- Experience coaching leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams.
- Hands-on experience facilitating PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt workshops.
- Experience improving Agile maturity, team effectiveness, and delivery predictability.
- Strong understanding of Agile metrics, flow optimization, dependency management, and value delivery.
- Experience identifying organizational impediments and supporting cultural change.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Marysville, Ohio, four days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the Automotive Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale Agile transformation programs.
- Familiarity with Agile operating models and organizational change initiatives.
- SAFe, Agile Coaching, Scrum, or related professional certification.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and initiatives.

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and job level and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Benefits
Compensation range: $125,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
