Overview:
The Claims Administrative Assistant provides vital support to the Claims Department at Noble Public Adjusting Group by performing administrative and clerical tasks. This position is designed as a Temp-to-Hire opportunity, with a 90-day probationary period to assess work ethic, competencies, attendance, and professionalism. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, candidates will have the option to transition into a Desk Public Adjuster (3-20 Desk PA) role, with additional licensing requirements. This transition will depend on individual performance reviews and business needs at the time.
In this role, you will assist in maintaining client communication, managing claim files, and supporting the Desk Public Adjuster with administrative tasks, all while delivering outstanding customer service and training to become a Desk PA.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support:
- Manage phone calls, take detailed notes, and update system files regarding client interactions.
- Perform clerical duties, including filing the received mail
- Miscellaneous projects or tasks delegated to you or your department
- Client Communication:
- Contact clients with updates regarding their claims.
- Maintain a professional and empathetic tone.
- Assist clients with inquiries related to claims via phone and email, within the scope of your responsibilities and licensing.
- Record and document client interactions accurately and ensure claim files are up-to-date.
- File Management:
- Maintain physical and electronic claim files, recording all relevant claim information in the system.
- Ensure all documentation and notes are thorough, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Assist the Desk Public Adjuster with administrative overflow and client-related issues.
- Provide support to other departments such as Business Development, HR, or Front Desk, as needed.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Deliver an engaging and positive experience to clients, presenting the highest level of service.

- Proficiency in:
- Client Management Systems
- Mac and Microsoft (preferred)
- Google Suite
- Printers, scanners, photocopiers, and other office equipment
- Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
Required Experience and Education
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role and/or in a professional office setting.
- High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
- Due to the nature of work, candidates must have the ability and willingness to obtain a Public Adjusting License within one week of hire.
Pay: $36,400.00 - $41,600.00 per year
