Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child Care Center Director to lead our team at Little Rascal's Early Learning Center in the heart of our community. This pivotal role is essential in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners while upholding our mission of quality care and development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
- Must be knowledgeable About Keystone STARS
- Must be knowledgeable about Early Head Start and Pre-K Counts
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
- Lead, mentor, and support staff in their professional growth and development.
- Foster positive relationships with families, promoting open communication and engagement.
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance program offerings.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).
- Proven experience in education administration or management (highly preferred).
- Strong background in teaching with a focus on early childhood development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment for children and staff.
