Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to provide exceptional in-home care to clients in the Washington, D.C. 20011 area.
Available Shift Options:
9:00 AM-3:00 PM Monday-Friday
9:00 AM- 1:00 PM 7 days a week
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Monitor and observe patient conditions, including mobility
- Assist with meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Document medical records accurately using EMR/EHR systems
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts
Qualification
- MUST HAVE a valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Experience working in assisted living facilities/home health settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation procedures
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation
- Ability to work independently while following care plans accurately
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility needs
- Prior experience in hospice care, long-term care, or home & community care is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
