Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG and TIG X Ray Quality
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications
- Fabricate and assemble ASME Code Heat Exchangers
- Operate power tools and equipment such as grinders and welding machines
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of different welding techniques including MIG or TIG
- Ability to accurately measure and use tools such as calipers for precise welding
Skills:
- Welding: Proficient in MIG, TIG,
- Press brake machine: Experience operating press brake machines for bending sheet metal
- Fabrication: Skilled in fabricating shell and tube heat exchangers
- Blueprint reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
- FCAW: Familiarity with Flux-Cored Arc Welding process
