Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join the best Korean bbq restaurant in town! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and passion, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Business Hours
Mon-Thur 5PM to 11PM (Last call 10PM)
Fri&Sat 12PM to 12AM (Last call 11PM)
Sun 12PM to 10PM (Last call 9PM)
Duties
- Prepare, cook, and plate a diverse range of menu items with attention to detail and consistency
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety regulations
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Support kitchen operations during busy service hours by coordinating with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times to promote safety and hygiene
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a focus on quality service
- Strong knife skills for efficient chopping, slicing, and dicing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience in menu planning and meal preparation within a culinary or food industry environment
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and servers
