Bright Home Water is a new and growing local water filtration company in the Austin Metro area. We install whole-home water softener/filtration systems and under-sink reverse osmosis drinking water systems for homeowners, and we're looking for a licensed, reliable installer who wants consistent, well-paid work with real room to grow.
This is a 1099 contractor role built for flexibility — take on as few or as many jobs as your schedule allows, part-time or full-time. We handle all the equipment and materials; you bring your tools, truck, and know-how.
- No Sales, Just Install: You're not quoting jobs, upselling homeowners, or collecting payments — that's on us. Your only focus is the install itself.
- Equipment Handled: Water softeners, RO units, and core installation materials are all supplied by us.
- Predictable, Solid Pay: Competitive flat rates per job, with clear separate pricing for standard loop/inside valve installs versus outside valve installs.
- Fast Turnaround on Pay: No chasing invoices or waiting weeks to get paid — payment lands quickly once the install's done.
- Work on Your Terms: Pick up jobs to fill gaps around your existing business, or take on a full-time volume — your call.
Responsibilities
- Install 10x54 whole-home water softener/filtration systems.
- Install under-sink 5-stage reverse osmosis systems (and potentially tankless units).
- Handle basic plumbing tie-ins, testing, and cleanup.
- Maintain a clean, professional workspace and be friendly and professional with homeowners during installs — you're representing the company in their home.
- Typical install takes 3-4 hours.
Requirements & Qualifications
- License: Must hold an active Texas Master Plumber license (Required).
- Insurance: Must carry active General Liability insurance.
- Experience: Hands-on experience installing residential water softeners and under-sink RO units.
- Tools & Transportation: Must have your own reliable truck/van and a complete set of plumbing tools.
- Availability: Able to take install jobs with short notice (48-72 hours).
- Professionalism: Shows up on time, does clean work, doesn't cut corners.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to service the Greater Austin, TX area.
