Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaper to join our dynamic landscape installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing outdoor spaces through skilled landscaping and groundskeeping practices. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and hardscape features such as pathways and patios.
- Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush and healthy turf.
- Operate ground maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and turf areas.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools such as hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment like excavators is advantageous.
- Understanding of plant identification and horticulture principles to support healthy landscape growth.
- Experience with irrigation system operation is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
- Construction experience or familiarity with groundskeeping equipment operation will be considered an asset.
