IMPORTANT: MUST HAVE ROLL COAT EXPERIENCE! We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finisher/Supervisor to lead our custom wood flooring projects with precision and expertise. In this role, you will oversee the finishing process of custom wood floors, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. You will supervise a team of skilled finishers, coordinate project timelines, and maintain excellent communication with clients and project managers. Your expertise in construction finishing, restoration, and installation will drive the success of each project, delivering beautiful, durable floors that exceed expectations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of custom wood floor finishing and restoration projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.
- Oversee the preparation of surfaces, including sanding, buffing, water damage restoration, and floor care to achieve a flawless finish.
- Lead the installation of building materials such as trim carpentry, cabinetry, fixtures, caulking, and tile laying as needed for comprehensive project completion.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with building installation safety standards and industry regulations related to flooring installation and construction site safety.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as concrete finishing, remodeling, carpentry, and flooring installation.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout projects to maintain high craftsmanship standards; address any issues promptly.
- Manage site safety protocols during construction painting, restoration work, or handling water damage repair tasks.
- Assist in estimating project costs related to materials and labor when necessary; support the team with construction estimating skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a strong background in flooring installation, tile laying, carpentry, or restoration industries.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Skilled in manual handling of building materials and using hand tools or power tools safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of building material installation techniques including caulking, fixture installation, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration processes and floor care techniques such as buffing and finishing.
- Experience supervising teams on construction sites with a focus on safety compliance and quality control.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints for complex projects involving remodeling or custom installations.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients, team members, and suppliers effectively.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
