Job Overview
We are seeking an entry level motivated Auto Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, technical proficiency with automotive tools, and experience working with various vehicle makes, including GM vehicles. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Be prepared to conduct repairs on vehicle transmission systems, diesel engines, powertrain components, and vehicle suspension systems to restore optimal function.
- Work well with a team, help senior mechanics and B level Mechanics where needed. Be ready to ready for anything and bring a positive attitude to all jobs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Prefer dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in an automotive repair environment.
- Prefer, strong familiarity with automotive schematics, and electrical systems.
- Basic mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, vehicle suspension system repair, and diesel engine repair.
- Basic experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance devices safely and effectively.
- Enjoy problem-solving and focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
