We're looking for an Junior Accountant to support our finance team by managing cash receipts, assisting with accounts receivable, processing invoices, and providing essential administrative support. - Process cash receipts and accounts receivable payments for adult and children's services.
- Process credit card and ACH payments.
- Handle daily cash transactions and ensure funds are posted to the correct accounts.
- Code and track RISE invoices using the purchase order system.
- Monitor and reconcile RISE inventory.
- Maintain daily cash balance records and communicate updates to managers.
- Manage the agency's petty cash fund and serve as the internal banker for Adult Services.
- Prepare and deliver bank deposits.
- Process EBT/Food Stamp applications and recertifications.
- Assist with HCBS miscellaneous billing.
- Perform administrative duties including filing, data entry, answering phones, and processing mail.
- Provide additional accounting and office support as needed.
- Proficiency with computers and standard business software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree (or two-year degree) in Business, Finance, or a related field required.
- Two years of office experience preferred.
- All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.
