Overview of Insurance Claims Processor
Supports various administrative functions of the claims department including handling mail, taking loss notices, recording of information, preparing claim related correspondence. Performs daily cash reconciliation, issues stop pays and reviews check/draft requests for adequate documentation.
*** This is a long-term contract role, with possibility for hire based on performance, business' needs, etc. ***
This position will be in Omaha, NE and work 100% onsite. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship!

Duties of the Insurance Claims Processor
- Provide excellent customer service to agents, insureds, claimants, and others.
- Enter new reported losses (claims), collecting all required information to start the claims process.
- Correct and/or update necessary information in various systems.
Qualifications the Insurance Claims Processor
- High school diploma or GED and applicable experience
- Bachelor’s degree highly desired
- Minimum one or more years work experience.
- Proficiency with basic math.
- Proficiency with personal computer related software.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Accurate and efficient worker
Schedule & Compensation of the Insurance Claims Processor
- M - F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- $21 – $22/hr.
