The Qualified Professional/House Manager provides leadership, oversight, and support for a Level III Treatment Group Home serving adolescent females. This role is responsible for ensuring quality services, supervising staff, maintaining compliance standards, and helping youth achieve the goals identified in their Person-Centered Plans.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can balance administrative responsibilities with direct involvement in the care and support of youth.
Provide supervision, leadership, and support to residential staff
Train, coach, and develop employees while promoting a positive team culture
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing staff development
Participate in and contribute to Child and Family Team (CFT) Meetings
Conduct consumer intakes and ensure timely documentation
Facilitate Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement (QAQI) meetings
Support treatment planning and Person-Centered Plan implementation
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all youth in care
Respond appropriately to crises and support youth during challenging situations
Monitor program operations and maintain compliance with applicable standards
Collaborate with families, community partners, and treatment team members
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Qualified Professional status according to North Carolina requirements
Experience working in a Level III Treatment Group Home or residential setting
Experience supervising and developing teams of 15 or more employees
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and positive behavior supports
Experience working with adolescents experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges
Minimum of 6 years of experience in behavioral health, residential services, social services, or a related field
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Dreams and Visions operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Qualified Professional must maintain a flexible schedule and be available to support first, second, and third shifts, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Valid North Carolina Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Strong self-regulation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to respond appropriately during emergency or crisis situations
