Description:
The College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences seeks applications for a temporary, part-time Lecturer positions to teach undergraduate Liberal Arts courses on as needed basis. Courses can be offered as a face-to-face instruction, online or as a hybrid. This is a non-tenure track, part-time appointment. Lecturer appointments are made on a semester-to-semester basis.
To apply, candidates must submit a letter of application/cover letter, CV and unofficial transcripts. Applicants with doctoral degree will be given priority. Preference will be given to candidates who hold current relevant, professional credentials and have college or university teaching experience or prior relevant industry experience.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a Master's degree or a PhD in a related field, PhD preferred.
Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
