Village Green is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our dedicated team! If you have a passion for caring for seniors and making a positive impact every day, we'd love to meet you.
As a Medication Technician, you'll play an important role in ensuring residents receive their medications safely, accurately, and on time while providing exceptional customer service and compassionate care.
Administer medications as permitted under Ohio regulations and facility policy.
Accurately document medication administration.
Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse.
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
Maintain medication carts and supplies in a clean, organized manner.
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other departments to provide exceptional resident care.
Current Ohio Medication Aide/Medication Technician certification (or eligibility as required).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Long-term care or assisted living experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
