Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Restoration Maintenance Technician to join our preservation team. This position is responsible for maintaining and protecting the historic finishes, decorative painting, architectural woodwork, ornamental plaster, leaded glass, and other restored building elements entrusted to our care.
Unlike traditional maintenance positions, this role focuses on preventative preservation. The successful candidate will perform routine inspections, cleaning, touch-up work, minor repairs, and documentation to ensure restored architectural features remain in excellent condition while minimizing the need for future restoration.
This position offers the opportunity to work in some of the region's most significant historic buildings while learning specialized preservation and conservation techniques.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
