Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Provider to join our team. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive space for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age kids. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development and commitment to fostering positive growth will help children thrive both academically and socially.
Duties
- Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning
- Provide attentive toddler and infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting when needed
- Engage children in play-based learning to encourage creativity, social skills, and emotional regulation
- Follow mandated reporting laws to document any concerns related to child safety or well-being
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that supports health standards and safety protocols
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and needs
Skills
- Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
- Ability to provide care for children with disabilities or special needs when necessary
- Strong behavior management skills to foster positive interactions among children
- Teaching experience with young children or youth programs is highly desirable
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient approach
- Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating the ability to manage multiple children effectively
