The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Fabricator to join our talented shop crew. This is a hands-on role where you'll learn the art of stone polishing and finishing, turning cut stone into a beautiful finished product. You are a crucial part of our production process, ensuring every edge, seam, and surface meets our high-quality standards.
No prior experience is necessary! We will provide comprehensive, paid training through our unique "Stepping Stones" employee development program. This program offers a clear, step-by-step path to master your craft and increase your pay as you develop new skills.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Finishing & Polishing: Learning and applying various polishing techniques to create perfect flat and shaped edges (like Pencil, Bevel, and Ogee) on high-quality stone countertops.
- Quality Control: Inspecting pieces for color consistency, seam matching, and overall quality, ensuring every top is ready for our customers.
- Material Handling: Safely operating cranes and handling stone slabs and finished pieces.
- Sink & Cutout Work: Mounting sink bowls, polishing sink cutouts, and making precise notches and faucet holes.
- Repairs: Learning to perform skilled repairs, such as filling and polishing chips, to ensure a flawless final product.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area and adhering to all company safety protocols.
