Job Summary
We're hiring Sheet Metal Workers to install ductwork and sheet metal systems on-site at a power plant project. This is a temporary position expected to run 6–8 months, starting in September 2026. Candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial/power plant environment.
Responsibilities
· Install ductwork and sheet metal systems on-site
· Read and follow blueprints and job specifications
· Measure, fit, and secure sheet metal components in the field
· Use hand and power tools to cut, fasten, and install materials
· Work safely at heights and in an active industrial plant environment
· Coordinate with crew leads and other trades on-site
· Follow all plant safety and site access protocols
Qualifications
· Prior sheet metal installation experience of 2 years
· Must provide own transportation to job site (Hallsville, TX area)
· Must provide own hand tools
· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (required for plant access)
· OSHA-10 certification a plus
· Ability to lift [50] lbs and work at heights/in outdoor conditions
· Reliable and able to commit to the full project duration
