Duties
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with each student’s goals, skill level, and learning style
- Deliver engaging voice or piano lessons that incorporate proper technique, musical theory, and performance skills
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a positive and motivating learning atmosphere
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, or exams by guiding practice routines and performance techniques
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans to track student development
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching voice or piano to diverse age groups, including children and adults
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management
- Familiarity with working with children, early childhood education, preschool experience, and special education needs
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and childhood development principles
- Experience in tutoring students with varying learning styles and abilities
