Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of industrial presses and machining equipment to produce high-quality metal components and fabricated parts. Your expertise will ensure precision, safety, and efficiency throughout the production process. Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor different press machines including stamping presses, forming machines, and press brake equipment to shape and assemble metal parts.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Utilize CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programming skills to operate CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and plasma cutting tools for precise machining tasks.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues promptly, and adhere strictly to safety protocols in all operations.
- Handle sheet metal fabrication processes including cutting, forming, welding, and assembly with hand tools and fabrication equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities, measurements, and quality control checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating industrial presses such as stamping presses or forming machines in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, setup, and operation of laser cutters, milling machines, lathes, plasma cutters, or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments including lockout/tagout procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to perform precise measurements using measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
- Basic math skills including shop math necessary for machining calculations and measurements.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling setup, and metal forming methods.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience with hand tools and fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection and adherence to safety protocols.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
