Job Overview
The Learning Center is seeking an outgoing, dependable, and enthusiastic Front Office Assistant to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, trustworthy, and enjoys creating a welcoming experience for children, families, visitors, and staff. The Front Office Assistant plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the center by assisting with administrative tasks, communicating with families, and providing support to classrooms as needed. Experience in early childhood education and/or office administration is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a heart for serving others.

Responsibilities
- Greet parents, children, and guests with a welcoming and positive attitude.
- Support the administrative team with various office and organizational tasks.
- Assist the Director with curriculum preparation, including printing, cutting, laminating, and preparing classroom materials and crafts.
- Help prepare and distribute lunches to students (no cooking required).
- Cover teacher lunch breaks and restroom breaks as needed.
- Assist in classrooms during playtime, meals, nap time, and other activities when additional support is needed.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children and families.
- Assist with professional communication with parents regarding classroom activities, child progress, behavior, and incidents when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary office environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support center goals and daily operations.
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Passion for working with children and families.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of licensed childcare and/or office experience preferred.
