We are looking for an Xactimate estimating specialist at our Pittsburg, CA office. Primary responsibilities are creating timely, accurate estimates and invoices for the company's services. We are looking for someone we can cross train for coverage in other areas as well as future job growth.
The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude, team player, and a passion for their work. Additionally we are looking for a candidate with Xactimate and Microsoft Office experience in the restoration industry , Symbility and experience with TPA's or working for an insurance carrier is a plus. Must have an aptitude to learn computer software programs quickly. This is an hourly position.

Responsibilities and Duties: The Estimating Specialist will take responsibility of creating timely, accurate estimates and invoices for the company's services. You will interact daily with project managers, and insurance carriers to ensure documentation packages are complete and submitted properly to insurance carriers. Additionally, the position will be responsible for answering insurance adjuster questions, coordinating and gathering information from multiple data sources, and supporting project managers negotiating claim settlements when necessary. Our number one goal is customer satisfaction, and you will contribute to that goal by always striving to assist our customers and answering concerns timely and professionally.
Experience: Xactimate software experience and Microsoft Office experience is required. You must have strong oral skills and be able to fluidly discuss claim details with insurance adjusters. You must have excellent writing skills, being able to organize claim outlines and business letters as may be required. Prior experience in water damage mitigation/mold remediation/restoration is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand carrier specific estimating requirements.
- Prepare and submit estimates to insurance companies
- Maintain a record of the job by updating job tracking log and job management software daily.
- Resolve billing concerns /rejections made by either homeowners and/or insurance companies in a timely manner.
- Maintain files and accounts, to include estimates, invoices, and/or any pertinent documents, and payments
- Communicate with office manager, project management, field team and other departments regarding scope of work.
- Develop and maintain rapport with a variety of internal and external customers ensuring the highest level of customer service through relationship-building
- Identify and communicate account concerns to management
- Recommend process improvements and enhancements
- Other duties as assigned
