Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a three-day work week (12-hour shifts), allowing you four days off each week while earning full-time pay and benefits!
Work Schedule:
- Work hours: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Workday: Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate feed mill production equipment including mixers, grinders, and pellet mills
- Weigh, measure, and batch raw materials according to feed formulations
- Monitor equipment operation and production quality throughout shift
- Load and unload bulk ingredients and finished products
- Conduct quality checks and record production data
- Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished feed products
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisor
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Basic math skills for weighing and measuring ingredients
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
- Forklift certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Climb stairs and ladders as needed
- Work in varying temperatures and dusty conditions
- Wear personal protective equipment (steel-to boots)
- Ability to work around moving machinery and heavy equipment
