About The Chefette SRQ
The Chefette SRQ helps bring busy families back to the dinner table by preparing fresh, carefully curated meals in the comfort of their own homes.
We are looking for experienced culinary professionals who can independently manage recurring personal-chef visits throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties. This is not a traditional restaurant line position. You will work in one client’s kitchen at a time, preparing several customized family meals with care, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Our app organizes recipes, grocery lists, client preferences, schedules, and communication so that chefs can focus on creating an excellent experience for each family.
Schedule and flexibility
Chefs may choose to work anywhere from one to four client days per week. We coordinate assignments around each chef’s availability, geographic preferences, client needs, and business demand.
Most standard client days begin around 10:00 a.m. with grocery shopping. Chefs typically arrive at the client’s home by noon and complete cooking and cleanup around 3:00 or 4:00 p.m.
Larger packages may require additional time. The complete visit time includes:
- Reviewing the menu, recipes, and client notes
- Grocery shopping
- Driving to the client’s home
- Unloading and kitchen setup
- Cooking
- Packaging and storing completed meals
- Cleaning the client’s kitchen
- Completing required app updates
Compensation
After onboarding, chefs are paid a flat rate for each successfully completed client visit:
- 3-meal visit: $175, with up to 6 total hours allotted
- 4-meal visit: $215, with up to 7 total hours allotted
- Fully stocked visit: $250, with up to 8 total hours allotted
The full visit rate is still paid when the work is completed successfully in less than the allotted time.
Additional compensation includes:
- 100% of client tips paid to the chef
- $50 gas stipend every biweekly pay period
- Biweekly contractor payments

Onboarding begins with one co-cook day alongside our head chef, Chef Kymmie. This is followed by one to two additional paid training sessions.
