Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator. In this role you will be part of a dynamic team staffing for clients and assisting in supervising the attendant field staff to ensure that Home Care services are provided to JFS Care clients responsively and appropriately. They also Coordinate Employee and Client calendars to meet the clients needs. The Staffing Coordinator also assists in monitoring the telephony system, correcting un-closed calls, identifying attendance issues and data input. In addition, the Staffing Coordinator will be answering JFS Care in front-line calls making sure that each new call is greeted warmly and confidently. The Staffing Coordinator understands and works to fulfill the Agency’s mission and program goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Services
1. Schedules and monitors attendant placements to meet client care plan.
2. Responds to Telephone and Email requests for service or inquiries about JFS Care and services available.
3. Maintains close contact with both attendants and clients by phone to ensure satisfaction.
4. Reviews each client’s assessment and care plan with all assigned attendants.
5. Provides coaching in client specific skills to the attendant as needed.
6. Provides direction to attendants on how to relate to clients, including cuing them regarding appropriate behaviors.
7. Maintains contact with In-House Homecare Managers and Life Care Managers who have clients receiving care.
8. Notifies the Home Care Manager regarding changes in client status and/or caregiver services, recommending field supervision when appropriate.
9. Enters information into the database and processes paperwork in a timely fashion and in accordance with Agency standards.
10. Verifies telephony calls and calendars for accuracy and completeness. Correct inaccurate entries on telephony calls and calendars prior to payroll and billing.
11. Will be part of doing New Caregiver Orientations.
12. Fully integrates the computer into daily functioning related to matching attendants with clients and other tracking and communication activities.
13. Ensures all required information is conveyed to on-call person.
14. Complies with the JFS and other Agency standards for performance.

15. Actively participates in program development and implementation.
16. Works cooperatively as a member of the JFS Care team, in order to serve all JFS clients.
17. Participates in JFS Care Agency meetings and consultations.
18. Works cooperatively and flexibly with other staff to insure that clients’ needs are met.
19. Will have On-Call responsibilities no less than every 6 weeks
Job Qualifications
College degree in related field, CNA or LVN certificate preferred.
3 or more years of experience in Home Care, Social Service or senior services required.
§ Ability to coordinate detailed information required.
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
§ Strong service orientation and ability to work well with people required.
§ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a working group required.
Desire to work in a social service setting and with the elderly required.
§ Strong computer skills required.
§ Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and QuickBooks required
§ Must have a reliable mode of transportation

7. Visual ability to read documents and computer monitor.
8. Exposure to low to moderate noise levels characteristic of working in an office environment.
9. Regularly required to talk and hear.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, position with benefits.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
