Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Qualifications: Must have 90 hrs lead Infant certification
Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to infants’ developmental stages, including literacy education, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and early intervention strategies.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through age-appropriate activities.
- Monitor and document each child's developmental progress using standardized testing tools and observational assessments to inform individualized instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering collaborative relationships.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap schedules, and behavior management to ensure a consistent daily structure.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and implementing special education or childhood development programs.
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with infants or toddlers.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, classroom management strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Demonstrated ability in curriculum development focused on early literacy education, physical activity (including teaching physical education), and math concepts suitable for infants.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are a plus.
- Familiarity with preschool teaching standards, daycare regulations, and mandated reporting laws related to child welfare.
- Experience with classroom experience including lesson planning, standardized testing procedures, tutoring methods for young children, and working within private or daycare settings is highly desirable.
