Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests during breakfast hours. You will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and organized, while providing excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Prepare and replenish food items as needed throughout the breakfast service.
- Assist guests with their needs, providing information about menu items and accommodating special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, if required.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
