Responsibilities
- Supervise residents’ daily activities to ensure adherence to house rules and recovery goals
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Assist with intake procedures, including behavioral health assessments and case management documentation
- Administer medication and support medication management protocols in accordance with healthcare guidelines
- Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and data collection related to resident progress and incident reports
- Conduct security checks and monitor the safety of the house environment at all times
- Offer support with behavioral health initiatives, including addiction counseling and social work interventions
- Facilitate communication between residents, staff, and external service providers to coordinate care and support plans
- Manage incident reports, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with safety standards such as First Aid certifications
- Support home & community care activities by assisting residents in integrating into local resources and services
- Provide financial oversight and QA bi-monthly when sending out invoices to outpatient facilities
Experience
Candidates should possess supervising experience within behavioral health, social work, or related fields. Prior experience in crisis intervention, addiction counseling, or child and family care is highly desirable. Familiarity with security protocols and medication administration enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Strong communication skills are essential for effective conflict management and resident engagement. Experience with intake processes, data collection, filing systems, and case management will support your success. Certifications such as First Aid or LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance are advantageous. A background in home & community care environments combined with skills in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment will prepare you for this impactful position.
Pay: $24.27 - $29.23 per hour
