Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans based on thorough assessments and data collection.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to inform intervention strategies.
- Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
- Provide training and support to staff and family members on behavioral strategies and intervention techniques.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by managing medical records, documentation, and patient confidentiality diligently.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Background in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or related fields such as special education or behavioral health.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient care procedures, and medical documentation practices.
- Experience conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and behavioral health screenings.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management and patient privacy.
- Ability to collect, interpret, and utilize data effectively to inform treatment plans.
