We are seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in asphalt and concrete construction. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing accurate cost estimates for both residential and commercial paving projects while leveraging estimating software and modern technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
In this role, you will meet with clients to understand project requirements, conduct site evaluations, and prepare competitive, accurate, and profitable estimates. You will be responsible for reviewing project plans, performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing labor, material, and equipment costs, and developing detailed proposals that align with client expectations and company goals.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, foremen, and field teams to ensure a seamless transition from estimating to project execution, helping deliver projects on time and within budget. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and build lasting client relationships. Experience with estimating software, Microsoft Office, and construction technology tools is highly preferred.
