Retail Pharmacy Biller for our client in
Roseville, CA 95661. This is a

Position Title: Retail Pharmacy Biller
Location: Roseville, CA 95661
Duration: 13 weeks (Possible Extension)
Work Schedule: Day Shift, M-F 8am-5pm
Pay rate: $26 - $32/hr.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure accurate and timely billing for pharmacy-related services.
- Prepare and submit pharmacy billing claims to insurance providers.
- Review financial statements and identify payment inconsistencies or billing errors.
- Post charges and payments accurately and ensure all billing entries are compliant.
- Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and other billing documentation.
- Track and process insurance claims from submission through payment.
- Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims to maximize reimbursement.
- Work with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Monitor billing procedures and systems to support compliance and operational efficiency.
- Support pharmacy-related billing programs, initiatives, and reporting.
- Prepare daily deposits for payments received.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred.
- Up to 5 years of relevant billing experience preferred.
- Experience with or familiarity with pharmacy terminology and coding standards.
- Knowledge of NCPDP, HCPCS, and ICD-10 preferred.
- Experience with pharmacy billing, insurance claims processing, and reimbursement preferred.
- Experience investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and claim denials.
- Retail Pharmacy Billing Certificate (RPBC) preferred.
- Completion of a retail pharmacy billing training course preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams.
