Compensation: Starts at $45 per hour for client sessions, with the opportunity to grow up to $55 per hour
Expected Caseload: Mentors typically begin with 1–2 clients and grow from there. Applicants should have the capacity to hold at least 3 clients as their caseload develops.

This is not therapy, tutoring, babysitting, or behavior management. It is relational, developmental, real-life mentoring for young people who need grounded support as they move toward greater ownership of their lives.
Position Overview
Noble Mentors is hiring Therapeutic Mentors to work one-on-one with teen girls and young women throughout Denver and the surrounding Front Range area.
Sessions take place in person and may include:
- Walks, hikes, or conversations in community settings
- Developing routines and greater structure
- Supporting school or job follow-through
- Working through areas where the client feels stuck
- Building practical life skills
- Taking real-world steps toward greater independence
The right person has experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting teen girls or young women. She is comfortable working with clients who may be struggling with motivation, anxiety, depression, self-esteem or body image, social pressure, executive functioning, family conflict, lack of direction, or the transition into adulthood.
This role is a strong fit for someone who is relationally skilled, emotionally mature, practical, reliable, and genuinely interested in helping young people grow in real life—not simply talk about growth.
Responsibilities
- Meet one-on-one with teen and young adult clients in real-life settings
- Build strong, trusting, and appropriately boundaried mentoring relationships
- Support clients in developing structure, follow-through, emotional regulation, and self-leadership
- Help clients take practical steps related to school, work, health, relationships, recovery, independence, and life direction
- Support clients in clarifying their values, goals, habits, and next steps
- Communicate professionally with Noble Mentors leadership
- Participate in supervision and ongoing mentor development
- Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other providers when appropriate and approved
- Write brief, clear session notes
- Represent Noble Mentors with maturity, integrity, and professionalism
Ideal Experience
Strong candidates will have:
- At least two years of experience mentoring, coaching, or working directly with teens or young adults
- Experience supporting young people with anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, addiction and recovery, executive functioning struggles, failure-to-launch dynamics, treatment transitions, or family-system challenges
- Strong relational instincts and emotional maturity
- The ability to balance warmth with accountability
- Comfort meeting clients in community-based settings
- Clear communication and strong professional boundaries
- Reliability, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through
- A genuine interest in mentoring as a developmental path—not simply a job
Experience in any of the following areas may be especially relevant:
- Women’s work, girls’ groups, or relational facilitation
- Mentoring or coaching
- Youth work and young adult support
- Recovery support
- Wilderness therapy or outdoor and experiential work
- Residential treatment or transitional living
- Education or alternative education
- Executive functioning support
- Rites of passage and leadership development
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to meet clients in person throughout Denver or the Colorado Front Range
- Availability to begin with 1–2 clients, with the capacity to hold at least 3 clients as the caseload grows
- Willingness to participate in supervision and ongoing mentor development
- Strong professional boundaries and communication skills
- Ability to write brief session notes and communicate clearly with the Noble Mentors team
- Comfort working in a role that is relational, active, and community-based
Compensation and Growth
Pay starts at $45 per hour for client sessions.
Mentors may grow up to $55 per hour based on experience, reliability, professionalism, caseload, quality of work, and long-term contribution to Noble Mentors.
Additional paid opportunities may become available over time through groups, retreats, community offerings, and other Noble Mentors programs.
