We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for a nursing student or pre-health student who wants hands-on clinical experience in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team, perform phlebotomy, provide support to our medical staff, and be able to answer phones, schedule patients, make phone calls, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with patient care, administrative duties, and other clinical tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy (venipuncture / blood draws) safely and efficiently (experience of 1 year on the job experience required)
- Assist with IV setup and monitoring (experience preferred but not required)
- Prepare patients for treatments and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely patient charting and documentation
- Reviewing / interpreting Labs with patients (lab knowledge prefered but not required)
- Assist providers with clinical workflows and patient care
- Ensure proper sanitation, organization, and stocking of clinical areas
Front Desk / Administrative Responsibilities
- Answer phones and provide excellent patient communication
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Return calls, follow up with patients, and assist with inquiries
- Check patients in/out and ensure a smooth office flow
- Maintain organized patient records and assist with data entry
- Support general office operations and team needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year On The Job Experience with Phlebotomy required
- Experience with medical charting / EHR systems preferred
- IV experience is a plus
- Ability to do Vitals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn and acquire new skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
