About The Role:
Established MD/OD Practice seeks a personable, team-oriented full-time or part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. PA/NP would do preliminary physical exams on the Pre-operative patients. Specifically regarding eye care, the PA/NP would perform full Anterior and Posterior slit lamp exams, screen for diabetic eye disease, examine the Post-Op patients and deal with common complaints such as Dry Eye, Corneal Abrasions etc. The PA/NP would work with the practice’s MDs and ODs and could refer more complex conditions to them for further care. Patient population is a mix of fee-for-service plus managed care. Excellent practice location and office facilities, one hour from beach and mountains. Community is family-oriented with good public and private schools. Recreational facilities, golf courses, vineyards and top restaurants nearby. One hour from San Diego, this area offers affordable housing in this charming and sophisticated community. Excellent patient communication skills a must. Experience:

License/Certification:
- California state PA or NP license (Required)
