Workers’ Compensation Customer Service Representative/Underwriter for National Wholesaler.
- Prefer applicants have some work experience in insurance industry.
- Experience in workers' compensation a plus.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- 1-5 years’ experience in insurance, preferably experience in workers’ compensation. Applicants with wholesale workers’ compensation experience has an added advantage.
- Must have or quickly obtain insurance license 2-20 or 4-40.
- The possibility of working from home once training is completed.
- Work hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook & Excel are needed.

Job Description:
Assist agents and CSRs with workers' compensation service. This involves a detailed understanding of workers' compensation endorsements, cancelations, reinstatements etc. The CSR will also properly document all work conducted with electronic filing. A strong sense of urgency to assist our customers is of upmost importance. Having a dedicated work ethic who learns the job and constantly produces results is considered an outstanding employee.
Applicant will also learn how to quote and bind online submissions.
The service of the existing business is essential. This involves helping agents service their clients’ needs. Understanding the industry helps the CSR facilitate the solution needed. The CSR will handle the service directly with the carriers involved and communicate with the agents. Applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask calls, emails, reports, and general demands of daily workflows.
Pay is based on experience.
