Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for HVAC construction projects, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed HVAC construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to gather pricing information and negotiate terms to secure favorable contracts.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that include cost control measures, pricing strategies, and project timelines.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to accurately assess project scope and requirements.
- Assist in the review of contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure alignment with project goals and budgets.
- Coordinate with the construction management team to ensure estimates reflect current site conditions and project constraints.
- Monitor industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain competitive edge in bidding processes.
- Support project management teams during execution phases by providing cost analysis and forecasting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating within the HVAC or general construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations, project management principles, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in estimating software or similar tools.
- Familiarity with cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and budget management for large-scale projects.
- Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Construction site experience is highly desirable to better understand on-the-ground project challenges. Physical Demands

Work Environment:

Pay range is $25-$33/hour DOE
