Job Purpose
Entry Level Cultivation is a great catalyst to learn the SOP’s of Decibel Gardens while playing an imperative role in our continued success. The core team have been cultivating together for 7+ years and have created a great foundation to gain skills while applying those in an organized fashion. Strong communication skills, ability to learn & retain new information, great work ethic and dependability are key factors in this opportunity being successful for both parties. This position has tremendous room for growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proficiency in deleafing cannabis plants throughout the different stages of growth.
- Having the ability to independently handle all aspects of transplanting, including; cleaning/sanitizing growing containers, prepping containers with prepared medium (coco), transplanting from clone, up-potting, and disposing of used medium.
- Plant training and trellising
- Application of IPM and Beneficial Sprays
- Maintaining clean and sanitized grow rooms
- Recording Environmental Grow Data and Runoff Reports
- Maintenance of drip irrigation and fertigation systems
- Ensure state compliance is maintained by applying Metrc tags on schedule, reporting weights, and updating plant counts
- Daily maintenance of clones (burping domes, weight checks, beneficial sprays, maintain current grow logs)
- Harvest Prep
- Run lead on resetting / sanitizing rooms after harvest to ensure new plants are moved into a clean environment.
- Communicate issues that are witnessed to management.
Working conditions
Schedules for each team member will be honored and only need adjustment to better support harvest schedules. Business is conducted Monday – Sunday and the working hours of operations are 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Holidays we will observed with minimal input from staff to satisfy opening and closing responsibilities.
Physical requirements
Certain days require longer hours and are more physically demanding. Individuals must be fit enough to perform all responsibilities during transplanting, harvesting and cleaning facility.
