Overview
Seniors Helping Senior In-Home Care Service is seeking an experienced Caregiver to work OVERNIGHT one night weekly in Hannawa Falls. The shift is 10 hours from 9:00pm to 7:00am. Daytime hours will also become available to the person in this position, if desired.

Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote comfort and independence.
- Monitor clients’ health, both physical and cognitive, providing timely medication reminders, and reporting changes to your supervisor promptly.
- Support clients with mobility by monitoring ambulation to ensure safety during movement.
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary plans and assist with meal consumption to support overall health.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in social activities to enhance mental well-being.
- Adhere to clients' care plans, communicate effectively with family members and your supervisor while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
Experience
- Prior experience working with seniors, especially seniors with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.
- Demonstrated ability to observe clients closely for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques such as vital signs measurement and medication management.
- Familiarity with care plans development and documentation practices ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with caregiving teams.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
