J. Viggiano & Company Furniture Delivery, LLC is a white glove furniture delivery service accommodating the tri-state area (Philadelphia metropolitan area) and New York. We specialize in high-end delivery service of premium furniture and services that cater to the Interior Design trade, including transport of antiques and art, comprehensive receiving service, warehousing, delivery, and furniture installation. We also offer storage for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Tired of the same old thing everyday, moving household goods and not knowing when you are getting Home? We start and finish each day in Norristown, working 8 to 10 hour days, Monday - Friday, including tips! No weekend work!
When shipping furniture, antiques or any other valuable items, our white glove service provides an unsurpassed level of care. You will be responsible for packaging, , moving, loading and unloading your cargo. Installing furniture in client homes, unpacking the shipment and taking care of debris removal.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year furniture delivery/moving experience
- Mechanically inclined...can you assemble items efficiently?
- A professional attitude
- Clean appearance and good hygiene a must
- Basic tools for simple assembly work
- Must read, write and speak English.
- Strong customer service skills to coordinate service delivery including attention to customers, sensitivity to issues, proactive identification and resolution of issues to promote positive outcomes for members
Here's the catch. You don't have to have a college degree. You don't have to have a certain education. You have to be hungry to work, have great customer service skills, and be mechanically inclined. If you have 1 year of experience in the furniture or moving industry...we want to hear from you.
Hourly Rate: Start at $14.00-$18.00, depending upon position and experience; review after 60 days
