Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to lead and optimize AR performance across multiple healthcare clients. This role requires deep hands-on AR expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to directly manage onshore teams while partnering closely with clients and offshore support teams. The AR Manager will play a critical role in accelerating cash collections, resolving roadblocks, and driving sustained AR improvement.
Key Responsibilities
AR Operations & Performance Management
- Lead and manage end-to-end AR operations, with strong focus on mid-balance AR work (3+ years of AR experience required).
- Drive AR reduction, cash acceleration, and performance improvement across assigned clients.
- Monitor and improve AR KPIs, including aging buckets, denial trends, payer turnaround times, and collection rates.
- Build, maintain, and leverage dashboards and reports to analyze performance and drive data-backed decisions.
Team Leadership (Onshore & Offshore)
- Directly manage an onshore AR team, ensuring accountability, productivity, and results aligned to client goals.
- Provide AR SME guidance and support to offshore teams, helping improve quality, follow-up strategies, and overall AR outcomes.
- Establish workflows, performance metrics, and coaching plans to continuously improve AR execution.
Client Partnership & Issue Resolution
- Act as a key AR partner to clients, proactively identifying roadblocks and resolving challenges that slow execution.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to align AR strategies, priorities, and expectations.
- Clearly communicate AR performance, risks, and action plans to internal and external stakeholders.
Systems & Tools
- Work across multiple Practice Management Systems (PMS) to manage AR workflows and reporting.
- Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and adherence to payer and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of extensive AR experience, particularly in mid-balance AR management.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to drive performance through dashboards and reporting.
- Experience managing onshore AR teams and influencing AR outcomes for healthcare clients.
- Ability to partner with clients and resolve operational and payer-related challenges efficiently.
- Proven experience providing AR SME support to offshore teams.
- Knowledge across different provider types such as multi-specialty physician practices, hospital groups, laboratories, and radiology providers, is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with multiple Practice Management Systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
