Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Pay Model: Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 (Baylor Program)
We are actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Weekend Baylor position in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) specializing in long-term care, behavioral health, and high-acuity residents. This role is designed for experienced nurses seeking full-time pay with a condensed schedule.
This is a fast-paced, high-accountability nursing role requiring strong clinical skills, leadership ability, and confidence in managing challenging resident behaviors, dementia-related conditions, and complex care needs.

Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care and behavioral health environment

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and update individualized care plans

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

Manage behavioral challenges using de-escalation and intervention techniques

Supervise CNAs and nursing staff during assigned shifts

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Respond to emergency and crisis situations with sound clinical judgment

High-acuity skilled nursing facility (SNF)

Residents may present with behavioral health conditions, dementia, or psychiatric comorbidities

Requires ability to work in a structured, performance-driven environment with direct leadership oversight

Fast-paced unit with frequent clinical decision-making and prioritization

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)

Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or behavioral health preferred

Strong skills in patient assessment, medication management, and supervision

Ability to manage difficult behaviors and high-stress situations

Knowledge of CMS regulations, infection control, and documentation standards

Prior experience as a Charge Nurse or Nurse Supervisor

Experience with memory care, dementia units, or psychiatric residents

Familiarity with EMR systems in long-term care settings
