As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver educational programs, orientation, and ongoing staff development.
- Assess learning needs and create educational opportunities that support clinical excellence.
- Develop and present in-services, continuing education, and competency-based training.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff across the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership, departments, and schools of nursing to support professional development.
- Promote evidence-based practice and assist with implementing best practices.
- Participate in developing and updating nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
- Function as a change agent by supporting quality improvement initiatives and practice advancements.
- Provide limited direct patient care to maintain outpatient and perioperative clinical competencies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Education
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire
- Previous nursing education or staff development experience
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire
