In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
- Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by licensed behavior analysts to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Support clients' educational goals through teaching strategies tailored to their unique needs, including communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards.
- Engage in direct behavioral therapy sessions, applying behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors.
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in care and progress updates.
Experience
- 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially within special education or behavioral health settings.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation requirements related to client care.
- Home-based behavioral experience is highly valued, along with school experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data systematically and accurately during therapy sessions.
- Understanding of ethical standards such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts is preferred.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans that promote client success.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
