Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays and stocking shelves to ensure an attractive store environment
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products by recommending additional items that match customer preferences and needs
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Conduct stock checks, manage inventory levels, and assist with stocking to keep the store well-organized and fully stocked
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in clothing or sneaker stores; supervising experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to perform merchandising tasks, stock management, and product demos confidently
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or similar retail environments is advantageous but not required
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively

Pay: $14.50 - $22.00 per hour
